Playlist Apps Overview
A playlist's Apps tab lets you add live, dynamic content alongside your uploaded media:
- Available Apps: YouTube, Instagram, Website (HTML/iframe), Weather, Announcements, Google Calendar, Google Sheets,
Google Slides, Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Canva, and PosterMyWall.
- Per-Item Apps: YouTube, Weather, Announcements, Website, calendars, sheets, and slides are configured per item —
just paste a URL or enter details when you add them to the playlist.
- Connected Apps: Instagram and Canva require a one-time account connection first, from My Account > Integrations;
once connected, their content becomes available to add to any playlist.
- Roku Limitation: Roku screens have no WebView, so app-based content types will not render there — stick to images,
videos, and YouTube for Roku playlists..
